So, after the sata mod I replaced the fan assembly with the intel board version. It's finally time to test the temperature differences since the silver has had time to settle and all I can say is woooow. I am going to wait until another few hours of up time before I post the temperature differences but, let me say this: Before the changes which included upgrading to the hotter running PM 780, you could probably fry an egg on the bottom after running World of Warcraft for a few minutes. Now, I've been programming in a Java ide while having World of Warcraft running in the background for just over an hour now and the bottom corner is literally cold. Of course under the processor is a little warmer than the corners, but this is nothing like before.
I'll post numbers tomorrow.
