T43's dim/brighten fn keys not working

I have a little problem with a T43 system bought here on forum.

With all drivers installed, I cannot change the brightness of my sxga 14,1" LCD. It's all the time like 3/7, and while using fn+home/end keys display brightness change, it's all time the same. Also, plugging/unplugging the power adapter changes nothing.

Tried to reinstall the drivers - no effect with 3 different versions
Tried to reinstall the OS - no effect as well

Did anyone have had such a problem? I don't really think it's an inventer, and I HOPE it is not a CCFL (14,1" SXGA is absolutely not accessable in Poland)

After reseating all LCD connections at the inverter, systemboard, and at the back of the LCD, I would try replacing the inverter, but I'd also verify the inverter is FRU# 27K9972, and that the SXGA+ LCD cable is FRU# 91P6942 or 91P6890.

Does the Fn-key/functionality work at all (drivers correctly installed?); are you e.g. able to turn on and off the ThinkLight (Fn+PgUp) and/or hibernate (Fn+F4) your ThinkPad?

As posted, yes, the drivers are installed and working. All the other function key combinations does work
