Yeah it's rather hard to get that scanner to shut up. If I turn it off, I have to sit down for two hours and reprogram every single frequency again. lol

But yeah, this ThinkPad is in excellent condition, I am surely buying from Data Sales again someday!

Sweet ThinkPad. Hows Ubuntu 11.04 run on it? I was thinking about installing it on my T40. But that is a nice deal.

Ubuntu runs very smooth, with no problems at all. The T43 runs it like a champ. You should most definately put it on your T40, no doubt it can run it.

That T43 realy does liik like new.With the small icons it does look like SXGA+. Nice.

This makes me want to try and look for a T43 base to put my broken T40 with SXGA+ screen on.

I love this T43, I used to have a T43p, but it was stolen from me a while back. I had it at the Rescue squad, I had to put it down because we got a call. Someone decided they needed it more than I did, so when I returned from the call, it was no longer there. The charger, bag, everything was gone. So this is my replacement.

It came with the dock, but it has only DVI, no HDMI slots, it is the IBM ThinkPad Dock Port Replicator II series, which does not have HDMI ports, only VGA, DVI, and S-Video.

So this is done by way of the dock w/ DVI, and the DVI to HDMI adapter that Neil posted? Would this work for a T60 as well?

T60 uses different docks and I honestly don't know what the story is there...
