T43 Drivers

Hello

I am just new on installing win98 drivers for T43. I have everything loaded some from the T42
side (Audio) except for the higher resolution video drivers for the ATI Radeon X300 pci express
video hardware on this laptop. Unfortunately the drivers they have are only for Win2000 and xp
but my understanding from a past post in 2006 from ebony he states that you can look at the
win2k drivers and compare to win98. In any case most basic stuff is working. The wireless I
purchased a simple PCI SLOT wifi card made from trendnet and works nice!. I removed the
internal modem and PCI wifi to reduce the burden on this machine and loading anything i dont
need.

Several issues on the T43 to correct
Ordered new keyboard, several keys not working makes me believe the T43 hangs and
occasionally beeps that 0200 error..keyboard is powered by 12 volts..from system board GPU..

heat issue culprit may also cause the laptop to freeze but when on battery only rarely
see an issue, when ac is plugged in then it freezes more.

Share any thoughts?..I also learned to take apart the keyboard and plastic cover. I can now
work on replacing HD Fan CPU and basic PCI DVD hardware.
