Dual Monitor Question

Has anyone had a problem switching the dual monitor settings on your T40? I have an ATI that for some reason does not let me switch the identies of my Samsung monitor and my LCD. I downloaded the lastest driver from IBM and I still don't have that option.

What exactly are you trying to do and what is your configuration? Are you going through a docking station? More details would be helpful. Which Samsung monitor do you have? (right now I run a 710N, personally).

Also, are you using the Windows Display control panel or the ThinkPad Presentation Director?

By identities do you mean primary and secondary monitors?

I'm using the Windows Display control panel and I have a Samsung SyncMaster 753DF. This is through a docking station and yes I mean the primary and secondary monitor.

Try working with the presentation director application. It should help alleviate that.
