CD Drive cover coming off and screen scratching

Anyone else having problems with the CD cover (the part you can see when it's closed) sticking out or popping off? Also, my screen is showing some small scratches from the keyboard.

My CD drive is fine. As for the screen, check out these:

I use one, and they're great. Great for cleaning the screen also.

May I suggest a Shaggy Mac Screen Protector. I started using these with my old beloved i Series Thinkpad. The CD drive should be flush something is not seated correctly.
