Install 100GB Disk from T43p on T43?

Can I use an internal 100GB hard disk from a T43p on my T43, both models 2668? Any HW, SW or driver issues known? To my knowledge, the T43 officially supported hard disks only up to 80GB.

Yes, you can... There is actually no limitation about the hard drive size but a whitelist from Lenovo where an annoying error message will pop up if the drive is not in that list. (As a side note: this error is a thing of the past thanks to a BIOS hack from a talented user, Google for "2010 error" or use the search in this forum for more details. The BIOS hack can be found here)

Now, having clarified the hardware compatibility, the T43p has a better graphic card so I'm not 100% sure that there will be no driver or software issues. Could you post the three digit number after the 2668?

The only driver which might be different is for the wireless card.

Everything else is the same, plug and play.

I would also uninstall the Client Security Solution first if you're using it. It can detect another TPM data in your new machine and this may cause some problems with accessing some of your data.

I successfully installed the 100GB disk from a T43p on my T43 (both 2668 models). No errors so far, not even the 2010 error; perhaps because the 100GB is an official Lenovo/IBM disk, and therefore not on the white list.
I only had to reinstall the Hotkey features, because the OnScreen functions were no longer active after migration.
