T42 Interchangability with T43

Can the battery and hard drive from the T42 be used in the T43?

yes, there is no changes with hd, the t43 battery is better than t42 so if you use it in t42, it's an upgrade while the otherway is a downgrade because t43 consumes more power in general.

If I take the HD out of the T43 and put it in the T42 (or vise-versa) do I need to change the BIOUS or make any other changes or is it basicly plug and play?

You might need to reconfigure your OS, since some hardware may be different, otherwise its the same.
