T41 reboots again and again becuse of faulty(?) touchpad

[T400plus]

i got 2 replacements for my misbehaving touchpad.one worked nicely(not the good looking one).
The other one boots repeatedly.
Any help??Do I just keep the palmrest as a spare part (one never knows..) for the next round of
problem resolution...
