battery can't fully recharge anymore

Hi all, I have a problem here I hope you can help me solve. I own a T42 DXU-2378 since last Oct, and now both my regular battery and the 9-cell battery that I bought cannot be fully charged anymore. In fact, they stop at around 15% of their full capacity. Is there anything I can do to bring it back to full health again?

Well, if they are less than 1 year old, they are under warranty. If you have removed them from the system, and when replaced they still won't charge to more than 15%, try a "Improve Battery Health" under Battery Maximiser. If that doesn't work, call IBM for advice and possible replacement.

How do I get to the battery maximiser again? There used to be a gauge showing in my taskbar but I think I accidentally turned it off.
