X220 getting a new display and lid *pics*

Some of you may have seen my thread in the X2xx section of the board, where I posted about what display to get for me X220, as the old one was completely busted.
I decided to go with the cheapest one on eBay, which was an OEM replacement (unbranded, but same as they used from the factory). Brand new, was just $90 USD!
As the old lid was cracked, I bought a new lid as well, to install it in.
I'm warning you, if you're gonna do this, make sure you've got a nice amount of time. I spent 3-4 hours on this, and I haven't actually got the front display bezel to stay properly in position yet, because of some issues getting all the little cables and antennas to fit properly in the top of the display.
Here's the pics from before, after, and some during the work:
Lid before

Nasty crack in the lid. This is also why the display was cracked.

Scratches in lid from removing company branding

The laptop opened up looks alright

Display looks nasty and is cracked, so doesn't work.

The new parts!

Nice clean lid

Bought 8gb of used DDR3 ram for it. Decided that 4GB was on the cheap side, considering its powerful Core i7 2620QM CPU.

Used 65W charger in good condition

Brand new OEM replacement display, still in protective plastics

Inside of old lid after removing the old cracked display

Cabling on the left side (before)

Cabling on the right side (before)

First reassembly to check everything works. It's ALIVE!

Completely put together, new lid on the back (after)

Looks nice and clean with the new and fully functional display.

Thanks for watching. Throw a comment if you'd like.
