The tablet is fascinating and it's great that you've got it in working order (quick, clone that disc!). It's vaguely similar to one of Toshiba's new ultrabooks, although Toshiba's design slides more smoothly, like a sliding mobile phone.
There's a melancholic aspect to IBM's tablet machines. They plugged away at the idea for years, to no avail. But I wonder how many patents they hold, though. Not just for specific methods of folding a laptop into a tablet computer, but for the general concept of a convertible tablet PC.
