Hello,

this is my T61 and its accessories that has been my "friend on the road"

these are the things that always inside my backpack

the first three photos were taken using my blackberry phone due my Olympus Mju 850SW is being repaired because faulty LCD, so you're looking at not-so-good photos:D
the last photo was taken using my mju 850SW, before the LCD's problem

most of the accessories I've bought locally in Jakarta, Indonesia, while some are bought from ebay (knock-offs things), but the batteries are genuine (but used) that I bought from Mr. Don aka TuuS (thumbs up for all his items)

may be i know this man , the best real thinkpadder from Jakarta.... u know Jakarta...
i hope, he'll get soon new idea to built "ultimate FrankenPad"..

the idea to built "ultimate FrankenPad" is still far far away ... after retrofitting WWAN antenna, putting in sim card slot and WWAN card, the last thing to buy is the 2503 full dock ... and after that, no more accessories for this old machine

Wow, that's quite allot of stuff. Must weigh you down quite a bit. All I pack is a X301 and an extra battery. Sometimes the AC adapter. That's all.

I don't think I'd be able to carry around all of that stuff.

Man, that's a lot of stuff to carry around!

I'm surprised I didn't see a power strip in there...I carry one for when I go to Starbucks or the book store and all the outlets are in use. I always ask before unplugging someone else's machine...you never know if they are running around with a dead battery and their machine dies when you unplug it.

Let's just imagine if you have a 9 kg fake b**bs on your back, I'm sure women with "oversized assets" are having great times with them (I'm sorry for my inappropriate words )
My height is only 160 cm and weighted for 50 kg, that backpack is almost the same weight as my 1 year and a half daughter ...
There are times when I go on saturdays for meetings, I brought that backpack on my back, and my daughter on my chest using a baby carrier (I forgot the name), and yes ... pain all over my body

that is why I bought 6 and 9 cells battery from Mr. Donald aka TuuS
I won't have to plugged in the AC adapter if I stay more than 4 hours at one place ...
with one 6-cells battery and two 9-cells battery, my T61 can hold at least 10 hours of discharging (when all batteries are recharged at 90% )

"saus" saset = chili sauce sachet is a very important "food accesory" when I cannot found any spicy ingredient to be added on my food
beside chili sauce, I also bring a steel spoon, a plastic spoon and a steel fork .. owh, don't forget wet tissues

I'm still using the T61, but if someone interested on it and the price is right, why not
I've spent too many money for the accessories and I still can use the rest of accessories for R/T 400, R/T500

I'm enjoying playing PES 2013 on my T61 using the fulldock 2503 + Radeon 5570 without any lag

My T61 is an September 2008 production

nope, my T61's board still has the chance from GPU failure if I keep playing those flash games on facebook
those flash games made the GPU temp up to 70-80 Celcius degrees ... so I stop playing those funny games (but not my wife )

at least I still can play DOS games, such as Championship Manager season 1997/1998 and Transport Tycoon Deluxe on my T61, without worrying the GPU temp will reach 70-80 degrees

no videocard will last forever, bro ...
eventually they will broke, because of time or accident

Where did you get your Thinkpad and Thinkpadder stickers? They're nice and I could need a couple of those

They were made by small Indonesian ThinkPadder community ... We usually held a small gathering with fellow member regularly every month

It's been a while since my last post in here, and here is another ThinkPad laptop that I have

Please meet my wife's tablet pc ...
As you can see the monitor hinge is broken, the latch for the lcd lid is broken, the battery doesn't hold a charge, the stylus is torn because of my daughter, the keyboard is showing errors (keypressed) so I have to disconnect the keyboard from the motherboard, the cover for the ssd is broken, and the fan is blowing loud noises ..

No need to worry, the tablet pc is still functioning
The stylus is still working on the screen ..

and my wife is still watching Korean drama on it ...

Only thing missing in that backpack is a black Japanese Shokado Bento box

I'll update my what inside my backpack later on, since it is now 12 kg (oh yeah it's getting heavier)

go to your nearest japanese restaurant, buy one from them

and you have your bento box
