The trackpoint is so good that I don't need to use the tablet interface.
I used to have IBM ThinkPad R40, which was mediocre product. Compared to that, this laptop rocks!

Looks very nice

I have the older X200T which is great as well. When I first received it I did not know what to expect. I thought it looked less impressive than what my expectations led me to believe. So far I have:

a) accidentally sat on it
b) dropped it a couple of times

And it still keeps on ticking which is more than welcome by yours truly

Despite the accidents the body and overall condition of the X200T is in great shape! Lets see if it (I almost feel like I should give it a name lol) will hang tough with me through my last 2 years of university

I have personally had the older X220T model, as well as a few X220s. Currently my main laptop is a T430, and I definitely agree in what you say about the trackpoint; It is as if it has become much better with the latest generation of Thinkpads.
