I am Ivan from Serbia, and I am ThinkPad user. Now, I have tree Lenovo notebooks. Two ThinkPad's, T43 and T500, and one Essential G580. Formerly, I had one T61, but I sold this notebook...

T43 has Pentium M 750 @ 1,83GHz, 2gb ddr2 ram , 60gb hdd, dvd...
T500 has C2D P8600 CPU @ 2,4ghz, 4gb ddr3 ram, 160gb hdd...
G580 has i3 2310m cpu @ 2.1ghz, 8gb ddr3 ram, 320gb hdd...

Not bad at all. I'm happy to see that someone over there is still running a system as old as T43.

My t43 is a "working horse". This is a undamageable notebook. It is in a perfect condition, but battery is weak. I planned to buy a new battery pack and a second (used) hdd, because the t43 use a old pata hdd.

For g580 (or t500) I will buy hdd caddy for second hdd. Main hdd will be ssd drive
