My Thinkpad collection has grown over the years and want to thank you guys for all your information and hard work here! All suggestions and comments are welcome.... all my systems need some work like my T440s needs a new T450 trackpad since the upgrade T450 one died, the T430 needs an HDD and O/S and the T410 needs a new battery

Image
All 3 Thinkpads together!

Image
My T440s with i5 Haswell CPU 8 GB of ram and 500 GB HDD with extended run time battery for a total of 12 cells running windows 10

Image
My T430 with i5 Ivy Bridge 8 GB of ram and unspecified HDD (don't have a fast and big enough HDD and I'm just testing with windows 7 right now)

Image
My T410 with i5 Arrandale with 4 GB of ram and 320 GB HDD running Windows XP SP3 (for hardware and software compatibility)

Don't know if it's just me, but links to googleusercontent pictures are a pain in the butt, and don't work.
All I see is a NO ENTRY sign instead of a picture.
Please, dump Google and put those pictures on Imgur or similar.

PostImage doesn't require that you register as other sites do. I like this.

Looking good! Which design do you like the most? T440s does a good job slimming down with smaller bezels and the modified hinge shape. For a 16:9 Thinkpad I think it looks the best. That T410 looks so classic.

I like the design of the stock T430 best.... it's the perfect blend of modern and classic Thinkpad all in one package! The T440s feels so much like a consumer laptop than a business computer at least to me.... i wish I would have got the T440p and not the T440s but I can't complain.... I want to upgrade the T440s with higher resolution 1920x1080 Touch ips display as it has the 1600x900 non-touch TN display and I don't like it as matte screens really wash out the colors and being a TN makes it worse when off axis....also I am already going to put a backlit keyboard on the T430 that is ordered.... the T410 is already where I want it but it may need a new screen soon as I get a row of pixels out on the screen if handled right.... many hate the new keyboard but I like it better than the old one since now you get the option to add backlight to it... the thinklight annoys me especially if the keyboard is worn and has major shiny spots and that's why I love the backlight better...

Wait until you get the backlit keyboard.
It will become shiny SO fast, you wish you'd never bought it! :BAAAD!:

Might want to consider wearing these: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com ... SY355_.jpg I understand the feeling though. I took what I thought was a mint X201 to the mall the other day and the bright lights revealed every shiny spot on its NMB keyboard. They also showed how minimally worn the keyboard was because I wouldn't have noticed them in any other way.

Fluorescent tube lights are the worst for glare on screens and keyboard and I hate them!
