My collection of Thinkpads

Hello,
I said recently I wanted to make a book with pictures of my laptops. It's done !

The pics aren't of premium quality, but I don't have a super camera and I'm not particularly good at making pictures... It's nonetheless correct, I think.
I didn't want to put all the pics in that topic, because there are a hundred of them. I wrote an article on my blog, and you can read it here :

I hope you will enjoy it !

Unfortunately I cannot read French (and Google Translate never truly does justice to the original text), but it was enjoyable looking at all the photos. It inspires me to do something similar.

Lovely machines. It's a pretty nice collection spanning several distinct periods.

Nice writeup!
At the end I saw you are looking for a few more collectibles.
I have an X200s with 1440x900 LED, and several 14.1" and 15" R52 machines for sale.
PM me if interested.

Hello,
Thanks !
@ RBS : I note that you have some machines you are willing to sell. I've already bought three machines last month.

So I will wait for the next month.

I would be interested in your X200s.
Have a good day.

Nice collection!
My Thinkpads are battered and well-worn (esp this X220 I'm typing on), but still functional. I'm not one to overly emphasize aesthetics, but I feel a bit guilty when I see Thinkpads in great condition.
I know have a Thinkpad collecting itch, but it's staved off by a number of factors:
1. Lack of funds and outright stinginess
2. Lack of variety in locally-available units (and overseas shipping is costly, related to #1)
3. Pragmatism -- I got a 560E with a broken screen for free, but don't wanna spend any more for something that I can't use for my daily tasks. I may "upgrade" it with a Raspberry Pi, or similar single-board computer, though turning it into a standalone monitor/keyboard dock may prove just as useful.
