Hello,

Some new pics of vintage pockets, I had the idea to take some pics after reading Gator's post.

The 4 devices :

A Casio FX-850p (with a 32 Kb card inside, for a total of 40 Kb) :

A Sharp PC-1403H (in absolutely pristine condition) :

This pic will remind you Terminator 2 (and the Atari Portfolio) :

And another very nice pocket, the HP 200LX (I don't find my batteries, but the thing is fully functional ! :) ) :

And I forgot my sweet Casio fx-7500G, still working too :

Hope you will like these ! :)

EDIT : I added the fx-7500G. :p

There seems to be some interest in these kind of little computers of late. I used to have a lovely Casio SF-4700L which drew admiring looks back in early 1999. I then switched to using my uncle's old Psion Series 3 and I still have it, although at the time it was very bulky and bad on battery life compared with the Casio. Years later I got a Psion Series 3mx which was really superb. Other than that I still have and occasionally use a couple of old Pocket PC handhelds; a Mitac Mio 168 and Dell Axim X51v and both with a ton of plugin hardware and accessories. My main handheld these days is of course a smartphone, a reputable Chinese exact clone of the Samsung Galaxy S4......an Elephone P8 that I got in early 2014.

Hello,

I was dreaming of these pockets when I was a teenager. Now I'm in my forties, and I'm very happy to buy what I couldn't back then. That's why I have all of these, and some of the Thinkpads listed in my signature. And to be complete, I even own a coupe BMW E36 318is of 1994 ! :D The first time I saw the E36, it was in 1992, my history teacher at the university had bought one (the sedan, a 325i), and when I saw it I said to myself "I will have one when I will be older !". And like the pockets and like the thinkpads, it's in excellent condition ! :D This evening, a guy came at the window of the car to congratulate me about it ! :D It's not the first time and it's always very pleasant ! :)

Aaaaah, if we could have stopped the time in the 90's ! :D
