It has a few blemishes from being in a closet for 7 years but not too shabby nonetheless.
Proof for it being brand-new? A factory sticker right on the webcan. There is also one on the Lenovo thing on the front. Who would leave 2 stickers on their laptop?
And of course, 1 cycle on the battery. 85% of design capacity!
An SSD with a light distro including the Dual IDA mod and it will still perform most tasks YMMV. Remember to calibrate the display. I have 6GB of ram in mine but probably 4GB is enough. Mine sits comfortably on my lap and is still a pleasure to use.
