Beauty.
Ahhh...the P4M. The only processor that had its prioritys out of whack.
1: Heat surroundings
2: Overheat
3: Do work
Good ol' IBMs still running strong!

You know at the time never really noticed

I purchased it whilst working in Moscow (Russia) on a 3-year contract, what was great about it at the time was the SXGA+ screen
(1400x1050) which is why I purchased it... that screen was amazing real-estate and really helped my work producing Technical reports for the US Government
All my colleagues were deeply envious as they were stuck with USG issue T23's
Beauty.
I am not sure why but I have noticed a lot of fondness and love for the T30 from many quarters... it seems a rather odd 'classic' but surely it is and it ranks amongst the best!
The diagonal corner never gets old.
And then I got an X31 where they continued the great tradition!

Possibly the last of the over-engineered TP's?

The X3x series (specifically, X32) are the last Thinkpads with this design, which spanned A3x, T3x, R3x, R40 and X3x.
