Slap a hub with some duct tape to the underside of that, and you've got yourself a perfect workstation.

Last year ... after I bought a 2ndHand T61 ...
I (also) bought (both through CL)
one of these (light-weight/sturdy) Fellowes MonitorRisers:
ImageImageImageImage
The design of the legs allows variable ... elevating/rising ~
which allows (for) varying situations ...

With my T61 ... I (for various reasons) use only the minimum elevation
of/from the smallest leg/lift attachments ...
Image
and with my T43 ... no legs/elevation (other than from the base itself)
(now that I've started working ... (again) on my T43 ...) ~
which I find (for various reasons) makes a material difference ...
simply by lifting the LapTop off of the TableTop ...
(or even ... in some cases ... off of my legs/lap ...)

I've not yet/ever tried the "Riser" ... @ "full height" ...

The design of the underside of the base itself still allows for ...
placing ... "stuff" (e.g., the PowerPack/adpter, ExternalHDD/s, cords/cables ...)
underneath the ThinkPad/LapTop ... even with no legs attached ...

The design even/also makes the "Riser" ... mobile/portable ~
which further adds to the "Riser's" "value-added" :thumbs-UP: :thumbs-UP: :thumbs-UP:
I have one of those risers. I've had mine since 2008, still functions like new.
