12 Thinkpads (or is it 13?) *HUGE PICS*

Ever since I got my first Thinkpad in 2005, my collection has been steadily growing, often without a specific intent. Last week I realized that, putting together all my personal machines, company systems, Thinkpads belonging to other family members and retired units I've had a total of 12 different models at my disposal. Due to a job change, all the company-owned Thinkpads were given away last week, and I will never see them again. :( Right before it happened, I took advantage of the last opportunity to portray this local peak of the collection.

I believe every one of these models has been showcased and discussed to death in earlier threads on the forums, so nothing of the sort here, just pictures. :D

All of them
Front row, left to right: The 12" X series - X32, X220, X61
Second row, left to right: 14" 16:9 - T430s, Yoga 14, Thinkpad 25
Third row, left to right: 14" non-16:9 - T60, T410, A21m
Last row, left to right: 15" - T42, A31p, T60

The blue nub T25 is one that's gone? :(

Yep. But I have plenty of those blue nubs, and green ones too. I have no idea which laptops they were originally for (not Thinkpads, obviously), but they work surprisingly well on the Thinkpad 25.

No fuss no muss no bragging and BOOM here comes my friend dr_st with a very well thought out collection...well-played, sir.

I'd be envious if I were younger. Seriously.

Enjoy... :thumbs-UP:

Well, what do you know. Due to yet another change, I'm back at the same place, and since the TP25 was a special buy, I am getting it back. The older systems were probably scrapped by now...

So that's the same TP25 in the middle, with the same blue trackpoint cap. On the left is the other laptop I was assigned - a T470p. The X1 Carbon, which belongs to the employer I'm leaving will, unfortunately, be returned tomorrow.

I never tire of looking at Thinkpads.

What model in the regular T or W series would be the equivalent of the T25 in terms of performance? Could these be purchased in different configurations, or was this a single machine with all of the same spec?

I would like to have one of these one day just for the keyboard, but if it doesn't run any better or faster than my souped up T520 I'd have to pass.

Thinkpad 25 = T470 (regular, not S, not P) with 7-row keyboard. That's pretty much it.
