Sorry about the late reply have been busy with work. To answer all your questions:

The MX518 mouse is great, it has very high DPI which you don't really need (if you set to the highest 1600 DPI a tiny move can make cursor go accross the screen). It comes with a control panel where you can lower the DPI down (mine is set on 800). MX518 is a gaming mouse which is very light and very responsive, it's also very confortable.

Hard drive is a 7200 RPM 250 GB External Acomdata supports both Firewire and USB. On my R52 is has the Firewire 400 port which in my opinion is better than USB 2.0. USB 2.0 is 480 Mbit/s while Firewire is 400 Mbit/s but Firewire doesn't take up system resource when accessing the drive. The hard drive looks amazing covered in silver metalic paint, it has a blue LED light when it idles and red LED flashes when it's busy. In my opinion this hard drive is very heavy to carry around, and you have to carry around a power adapter with it.

Logitech X230 speakers is a great budget 2.1 system. It produces an amazing sound with my onboard Thinkpad sound card. It has enough power and bass to rock my entire house :) I also have a Logitech Z-5500 connected to Sound Blaster Audigy 2. In my opinion Logitech Z-5500 and Audigy 2 produces a crisper sound but the price is not worth it $600+ Canadian.

Final thought my X41 and R52 kicks [censored] :D
