X22's backlight bulb went bad. I ordered one but it was lost in mail. So I gave up and hooked it up with 15.4 Wxga LCD from my desktop, also got a pair of Wifi antenna to use on x22.

Both a31p and x22 are on swivel plate, also can be moved to left, right, back or front. It saves the desk top space for reading books and writing on paper in the old fasihoned way.

That is sweet!! I am thinking of doing the same thing but adapting it to the truck for a GPS configuration....

I want to use X22 for GPS too. But before I get a good deal on the bulb I will have to use a31p for the job.

My idea is to REMOVE the LCD from a thinkpad and use it with a "Touch-panel" LCD mounted on the dash for GPS and WiFi (internet, etc).

You can get a Touch Screen -External- (OK, Quality) for a song on EBay! Instead of having to spend over $1K on some unit that all it will do is GPS/maps!!!
