My New ThinkPad A31 Editted Wallpaper & Deskspace

#1 Post by n1nj4Lo » Wed Dec 13, 2006 12:35 am

Okay I made an attempt to edit the "Think" as good as I could with a steady hand, Ya can see I colored it in with the traditional IBM Logo colors and also added the "IBM ThinkPad Logo" to it as well....

Newly Editted IBM Wallpaper, Desktop Capture of Wallpaper, and My lil desktop area for the time being until I move again... LoL... Excuse the crumby res of my cellphone camera...

Incase you're wondering what that big white screen is next to my ThinkPad it's my LCD TV that I have hooked up to my ThinkPad..

I've got an IBM A31 2652-D3U With a 40Gb Hard Drive, P4 1.6Ghz, 384Mb of Ram and a Cd Writer|Dvd Reader combo.. I jus recently bought it this past saturday at a Pawn Shop I go to a lot as an "As Is" deal for $50.00... They didn't know what was wrong with it and I did know, It was jus missing an O.S. and luckly I have a valid copy of XP... So when I asked how much and they said 50 and I reached in my pocket and slapped the money down right then and there, And it's been running and working terrificly since I installed XP...

Awesome! Do you have a 1400 * 1050 version of the wallpaper? Please say yes :)
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

Nope sorry I don't and I tried editting it to that size and when I appiled it to my desktop my laptop would freeze up something awful and only half the screen would show up... Plus for some reason when and once it finally did take effect it still showed as a two pic's in both screens one for each screen...

 Wow! Great deal on the A31! I used to do the pawnshop circuit myself to see what deals I could come up with....before I got married

Back when lasers were still VERY expensive, I bought an HP 5MP for $75 that I'm still using today! The toner cartridge it had in it lasted for 3 years and it even has an IR receiver which is great for ThinkPad users!
Family Daily Drivers- T430s, T530, X220
