Replaced my T60 as my main desktop. Currently connected to a Westinghouse 37in monitor.

Finally, a monitor that won't have to scroll horizontally when people insert 500 character links! :)

Your power strips remind me of the handy-work of Chevy Chase in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...just not quite as bad!

Don't let its physical dimensions deceive you! This 37" monster has a native res of 1920x1080, which is actually slightly less than that of a conventional 24" LCD monitor (1920x1200).

@coolname1: Could you make your pictures a little smaller? I understand that on your awesome external screen it probably looks good, but on an SXGA+ it is just too big... (I had to do a "view image" in firefox to get a decent view)

@Pianowizard: I can't remember to ever seen a lcd stand-alone screen that is "small" (17" or so) with a dpi like on an SXGA+ laptop... Kinda sad, I would love a 20" widescreen with that dpi :P .

That's because these monitors are designed to be viewed from farther away (say 2 to 3 feet) than laptop screens, which are usually viewed at a shorter distance.

That is probably the biggest monitor I have seen sitting on a table. My school has a similar sized monitor from dell hanging high on the wall. How much did it cost you, if you don't mind telling us?

I got the Tv locally for 1000+ tax. Now I don't know what to do with the order I have coming in from buy.com. Let me know if any one in the Houston area is looking for this monitor.

Btw, I only have the Wii remotes but no console.

If you're really talking about a Dell monitor (as opposed to TV), then it's probably the 30" 3007WFP, which has a max res of 2560x1600!

Which TV model was it?

Are there other LCD TVs with similar high resolutions?

Heh, I don't even recall having this thread. The Monitor, ps3, Asus Pmp, Wii and T60 have been been sold. I've replaced the monitor with a better one. Will post some pics once I get home.

If my jaw drops again, will you pay for the surgery required to fix my teeth?

Many (or even most?) people here don't like to keep using the same equipment for more than several months! I owned a T60 for only 5 months, which was relatively long for me.
