Hi there,

just one pic of my personal relax zone after day:

By the way: I really LOVE the Thinklight(TM). I never really knew that it is that useful while working on ambient light.

Very nice! I love the ThinkLight too, but I really love that desktop photo, may I ask where you got it?? The candle is a nice touch. Have you seen the new little USB original brand Lava Lamps out, I want the purple one. You plug them into the back of your computer and drift away 8)

I got the 1.83 Core Duo with a 14" SXGA+ panel. It might not be the brightest one but it's a pleasure to work with its high(er) 1400 resolution. I shot this desktop photo end of September last year. We went to Lake Tahoe and I took some pictures of my girlfriend and this one :D.

Thanks so much for your comments,

Torsten.

Nothin' like a little Anderson Cooper to get you through the night...

Nice pic though. I also like your San Fran panoramic.

Meshua, well if you ever feel like posting that .jpg of Lake Tahoe, I would surely love to keep that in rotation for my desktop photos, I switch them weekly and right about now I am needing a nice beach shot. It is superb!

Ha...I thought it was blacktop.

I need to sit closer to my monitor.

Whoa, I have startled myself a few times reading words incorrectly  I myself need stronger glasses or maybe use that magnifying feature of the trackpoint.

That is a very nice shot of your laptop in action. I like your wallpaper. So if I could second what others have asked, can we have a link to it (maybe?)...

Thanks for your comment. The calendar on the corner is called Rainlendar.

Some people say the illuminated keys are not as good to handle as they seem to be.

Have fun and Brgds, Torsten

It will look better if you can use black royal noir for your task manager bar. Right?

I've given some black task bars several chances but since I love the blue color I got used to it ;-) But this is true: I did hate that XP candy style but after sticking w/ W2K for almost seven years - it's OK.

Apologies to the original poster, but where can I find those new Thinkpad wallpapers with the calendar on it? Do they come with new Active Think theme from Lenovo or just wallpaper by themselves?

Last one. Wallpaper (my little something given ) and Calendar are separate "entities". No need for setting up Active Desktop.

I got the Rainlendar desktop calendar after seeing yours many weeks ago, I love it. I am currently using the Black Panther skin. It is easy for my husband who is not used to using a computer calendar, this is right there on the desktop, easy to read. Thanks for the link.

That's true. I even prefer and like it more than Outlook when it comes to show and remind events in the best and simpliest visually manner - because it's located directly on the desktop and the pop up event reminder catches your focus for sure (outlook doesn't anytime ;-).

Enjoy it and have fun,

Regards, Torsten.
