I refrubished my A20m after the left side where u hook up the adapter somehow broke off, so did the inside of the hinge, I ordered a base and palm rest now everything looks brandnew though I feel like selling it to get one with higher specs. Mine is a Pentium 3 850mhz with 512MB of RAM

If I can max out the RAM on this machine and upgrade the hard drive, I may try to install Vista on it.

Asiafish had the fastest possible T23 (1GB RAM, 72004pm HDD, 1.2GHz P-M) but still found it painful to run Vista on it.

Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)

What version of Vista? Home basic should run okay on a machine with those specs. By 'ok' I mean, not terribly quick, but not molasses either.
