Those cigarettes are not good for the computers. They not only yellow the screen and get the computer messy but the fumes can coat the motherboard with crap that can induce short circuits.
It's also good measure to avoid putting stuff on top of your scanner.
With the nitpicking aside, nice setup. That monitor looks nice.

Totally agree. I am a fan of cigar smoking myself, can't keep those babies away.
Anyways, nice monitor. You have a coin (i think) lying aroung near the window on the threshold.

Cigarette smoking in Europe is like drinking water isn't? It is in Asia.
What are the TP models?
And the right one has nothing on the screen, what gives?

these are a t43p and a t43. i use the thinkpad's screen as secondary display but there is just no program opened on it.. thats why the screen is empty. the t43 is one i was selling for a friend of mine and thats why i was restoring it this day to factory defaults.
smoking isn't like that anymore in europe and i would like to suspend it too .. but isn't that easy

As a smoker in the process of quitting, I can quite agree with you that it is not an easy thing to do. For me it's more of a psychological issue than it of being addicted to nicotine. Yes there is the addiction, but that is easily dealt with. It's those stressful work place moments that send me out to the smoking area.
I like your setup, looks nice.

Ahh, that's why it looks so similar to my 2407WFP. I wasn't sure if yours was 22" or 24".

Perhaps you can try eating oranges in the smoking area instead?

the 2407 wasn't yet available when I bought mine

i have it now for more than two years- as far as I can see the only difference is HDCP support so far, right?
