Thanks, the monitor did not turn out as good due to the flash, but it really is a beautiful sony.

Yes that is my trusty 12 guauge, in case one of those thinkpads even thinks about acting up

Nice. I bet it makes you feel like you're typing on a thinkpad.

I worship those trackpoints, whenever I'm on a notebook other than thinkpad I keep on touching the space between "G" "H" and "B" keys.

Anyways, is that a physics related book (Light, Lasers and Optics) I see in your upper closet? Do you like optical physics?

Now that is funny, I have done that too, some of our customers laptops don't have trackpoints and they just look naked and weird.

Gator, the gun is to protect these beauties. Somehow it seems fitting when you see a beautiful set up like this, to also see a rifle in the corner.

That is a keyboard brush and pen combination, and it actually works pretty good, for dusting the monitor, the bristles are very soft, would not scratch anything. Of course it has our logo on it as well. Looks like big bird with an afro

Somehow it seems fitting when you see a beautiful set up like this, to also see a rifle in the corner.

Guns are near and dear to me heart....

I was thinking more along the lines of getting the cat hair off of my computers and desk. Both cats like to sit/lay/sleep up on the desk next to my Sharp LCD and Epson scanner. The desk is right next to the window overlooking the front yard. It's also where I work on the laptops. The male cat is a short haired tuxedo. He's not the problem. It's the female calico Maine Coon. I swear that if you even LOOK at her, several dozen hairs will immediately fall out of her coat.

When I get the new utility table set up in my office, the cats will be taught not to jump up there.

Okay, have you ever tried to TEACH a cat anything?

I also had a Mainecoon for 12 years, gone 4 years now but I am still finding his lovely soft grey hairs on stuff.

Kwoon, that does seem logical but a desktop is for a desk and a laptop is for......well.......I sit in my big red chair and everything is there within reach:

TV remote
Desktop Keypad (which is the Ultra Nav)
Either the R52 or T60
Those drawers are full of my HD's and Software
Printer is right there
Gun

I do have to get up to go to the fridge.

I believe that qualifies for toilet humor in good taste, (is there such a thing).
I remember one episode of Seinfeild where George had a Chair that had a fridge built in to the side, reach down, pull out beverage continue with whatever. That's a manly chair.

That reminded me of the famous 'manly hands' sienfeld episode ... I have the whole sienfeld (all 9) and simpsons (17 seasons!) collections, and I watch simpsons on a daily basis

Infact, I have a HUGE photomosaic poster of Homer thinking 'mmm... Donuts' near my school desk, which my prof likes too

That's where I got the phrase "I'm a wealthy industrialist" Kramer in the Cinco De Mayo clothing store trying to sabotage the clothes with the pricing gun, he breaks the pricing gun and resorts to "reomving the silica gel packets" and tells Elaine "in seven years these clothes will be ruined".
