Unfortunately, the messy desk contest is over. You could have been a winner, Bill!
But then again, there's a reason why I haven't posted pics here, and it's not excessive cleanliness.

cheers messily,

He just takes a picture of the doorwayfrom the right angle, and uses that picture as the Wallpaper for windows. It's gimmicky because it's only really useful as a one-time photograph - look at it from any wrong angle/distance or even open/close the door and the effect is spoiled.

usb or pcmcia tv tuner??

How much did you spend on it, been looking for a similar solution to get TV on the t42.

Id really like to know where and how much you got it for, if indeed it is a TV tuner.

Nothing that fancy I am afraid, I am using the easy solution: a $12 DVD in the Thinkpads' DVD drive since our TV is not here yet. We use the Panasonic DVD Receiver for audio out so as to get us better sound but once the TV gets here, we will not need to use the Thinkpad to watch DVDs any more.

I have the ATI USB TV tuner...and a friend of mine has some other kind not sure exactly...the only problem I can report of having was a quality loss in the signal. nothing to serious though. also, not that I promote doing anything illegal but, you can also get free movies in hotels with the proper hookups.

Hey Michael. It was the default wallpaper on my x41t. If you want it I can post it, but its only 1024x768 I'm guessing.

I am on the same resolution anyway, and other XGA users would appreciate it as well I am guessing.

Hi

That keyboard in front of your monitor, is that a regular KB? Where did you get it from?

That's the UltraNav Travel Keyboard, AFAICT.

Not my taste (I'm a Model M guy, myself), but it's gotta be better than a cheapo membrane KB...
