Another X220 tablet here
Because I just so happen like ThinkPads, SCIENCE and furries. The panel doesn't seem to play friendly with very dark wallpapers though. Takes a second to transition to a full white

Hi Latios, nice desktop.
The 'dimming' over 5-10 seconds is a 'feature' of power management that you can disable by going into Intel's graphics settings --> power options --> disable anything that says 'power saving'

.
It annoyed me forever until I figured out how to fix it!

Hi emeraldgirl. In case you're still looking for the image, I was able to find it in WUXGA, albeit with a Bing logo:

Resized from 1680x1050 to 1280x800 for the sake of those running on XGA resolution.
If anybody wants this wallpaper, you can download it from my deviantart profile here:

A mix of old ideas and current graphics while remaining true to ThinkPad branding on my T61:
I'm using the same Lenovo-created wallpaper that SchlageR uses, but with sidebar gadgets (tweaked red where possible), current version ThinkPad icons (some modded), and a matching custom start orb (via Classic Shell) on a restored Quick Launch bar, all on Win7. Combined with my drive icon pack, and ThinkPad Firefox theme mod, what else can be ThinkPadded?

Oh, I love these icons. Where did you get them (link please)?

Some are in this thread:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=22557
Basically, the latter two are preloaded in more recent series ThinkPads along with an empty trashbin and network icon, but the admin one was done by me using the same background as a template. I plan on doing new packs with more variants.....someday.

Not that it's necessarily "growing on me", but 8 doesn't look as bad as I previously thought.

Thanks for reminding me exactly how awful my german is...

I could barely understand half of it. I really need to stop neglecting my language skills.

Agreed. That doesn't look remotely as terrible as the promotion screenshots. Those neon colors... just... ugh... *puke*
