I promised myself a long time ago to post fotos of my two TPs. I'll start with this one, hopefully will find more time to make proper fotos... Enjoy it...

This one was taken the day the X31 arrived. Still with XP, 512MB and the 40GB stock drive (and no broken keyboard bezel)

I like the tiny form factor of that X41.
Congratulations

really good pictures!! wow the X31 appears to be a lovely machine, I want one now!! Very slimline laptops compared to my A31, but my R40 is fairly slim, thought not as slim as those two!!
Why do you have Chinese symbols on one of the keyboards...you live in Switzerland don't you? Was it a Chinese import?(think it's the X41 keyboard)

Very nice pics. Cute machines.
The X4x are really a bit smaller and thinner than the X3x. Unlike the X6x with the idiotic battery design, which actually makes them thicker at the back.

It's a Japanese keyboard. I bought the X41 as a souvenir from a project I had in Osaka early this year. It's a refurbished machine I got in Den Den Town, a paradise for used Thinkpads! If you have the opportunity to visit Japan, never miss the Akihabara market in Tokio or Den Den Town in Osaka, but plan at least one complete day. You'll love it.

Oh yeah, they really are. I have to say I love both of them, but the X41 a little bit more

I don't blame you on liking the X41. I have an X41T and it has really grown on me. I love the slimness of it, the sturdiness of its build quality and its looks as a whole.
Sure it has the weird HD thing but that isn't much of an issue for me. I've really grown to love this computer.
May your X41 and X31 serve you well.

Really nice, I was considering getting both X32 and X41 but finally the higher resolution and 64-bitness of X61T prevailed.

right hand side lol!! (I do';t think so!)
Seems that people prefer the X41 to the X31... but I actually prefer the X31 (I do like the X41), it's becuase I prefer the bigger screens which is why I have an A31!!

That's a great picture! Thanks for sharing...
I still have an old Dell Desktop from 1998 in my cellar. I should also take a comparison photo one of these days

21Mhz!!! I remember when jumping from 21Mhz to 25Mhz to 31MHz was considered as a HUGE leap in performance
