Nice looking good I like the look of the ThinkPad running windows 7!

Windows 7 is much faster than Vista, which this PC had installed when i bought it. It was during the time of the free win. 7 upgrade program. It's not a bad computer at all, and I have to say that it's a big improvement over my T23, which wasn't half bad itself. My SL500 plays games like NFS Carbon and Most Wanted pretty well, although partway into the game it will start to freeze up.

Vista on laptops isn't much good unless you have 1.5GB RAM or over and a big HDD...if you look on my project page about my A31, I installed Vista Ultimate on it and I had it for a total of two days...went back to XP Professional after 2 days! Also, I have Vista Ultimate on my ThinkCentre and it is fairly good actually, but just before posting this, I was browsing the internet just fine on the ThinkCentre and then I got a random BSOD...forcing me to restart!!

We have several computers in the house, majority running XP Pro, one (my ThinkCentre) running Vista Ultimate and one running Windows 7 Pro, I haven't actually used Win 7 yet but from I what I can see, apart from the QuickLaunch and the much more noticeable transparancey, looks pretty much like Vista!! But then that PC (the Win 7 one) has 4GB RAM and my ThinkCentre only has 2GB so wouldn't be a fair test anyway!

The Zune makes this setup all the better!
