The daughter loves it. Brother has his hands full trying to coach her!

Brother is happy because now little sis isn't bugging him on his T42! I used regular Krylon on the lid and Krylon for plastics for the other parts then clear gloss on top.emeraldgirl08 wrote:I heartily approve! I love the color and the kids sure look happy!
What type of paint did you use?

"Cute" isn't necessarily a good thing for a Dad, but I think I have a few years before my students start asking about my daughter!JaneL wrote:They are so cute (and so is the TP)!!
Now you know where those parts went, that I got from you!t140568 wrote:Man, that looks great!

Glad to see them go to such good use, especially when inspiring generational TP users!schen wrote:Now you know where those parts went, that I got from you!
Really? Not to be sarcastic, but do you really think it looks like it wasn't dismantled? Go back and look at the 1st 3 pictures where the pieces are taped off and laying on the newspaper and see what you think.ParatoOptimal wrote:Did you do this without dismantling it?
It looks like you left it together and masked areas with newspaper and tape.
Now that I've done it once, I might strongly consider doing one in that gloss "Piano Black" look that the guy on that Korean website did. I can't seem to find it any more, but it was amazing even if I couldn't read it. It was probably instrumental in getting me to do the lavender for my daughter's machine. Maybe at some point later this year when I get a little time on my hands; after the first few months of school and before the "prep-for-testing" period in the Spring.j-dawg wrote:Very nice work. I wonder how it would look in gloss black. My X24 may need a refinishing; it's taken a beating over the last few years.
