I tricked out my T42p. Put on a carbon fiber body mask kit

#1 Post by DentdHalo » Sat Mar 12, 2005 7:29 am

This is pretty cool, with out being too tacky (in my opinion) hehe

I saw the body mask kit at one of my fav electronic stores here in Akihabara (Tokyo)

Here is the link (Japanese)

(thats what it sorta looks like, however that is a Panasonic laptop) I dont have a pic of my T42p yet.

I only put the carbon fiber on the top of my lid, didnt put it on the keyboard/mouse area. I think it looks really good when the lid is closed.

However it does cover the IBM Thinkpad logo on the lid, anyone know where a guy could put another one of those logo stickers to put back on there? :)

Anyways just thought I would share.

What is it? Some kind of self-adhesive stick-on overlay?

That is very slick. What is the specification on the carbon fiber material?
Cost=?

The first thing that popped up in mind: "Type R" :lol:

It is just a sticker... never the less I am sure it has some aesthetic value.
