Just got two stripped T6s from BobA and wanted to share the fotos. Nice comparison between 4:3 vs 16:9 screens Enjoy!

"Stripped" to me would mean the wi-fi as well.

Nice fixer-uppers you have there.

The T61 has no modem no wifi, the T60 is "half-stripped"

There is a camera on the T61 that was not there before. Good job with re-building. I really like my T61 - works hard, survives anything, runs fast. All that I ask for.

Yeah! I have to figure out how to use the camera with Ubuntu, does anybody have a hint?

One correction to the posts above, the webcam was always there, probably the first picture was moved or too dark so it went unnoticed.

The camera was always there - I think the picture was too dark . What is the diffrence between the X60 and X61 palmrest?

The location of the fingerprint reader (on X60 palmrest it's directly under the trackpoint buttons).

+ some extra ventilations holes on the right. And the new bezel will cover the IR port of the X60.
