Pictures of my collection - so far

I absolutely love looking at pictures of other people's laptops and getting ideas based on what other people do. I know this is nothing compared to some of you guys, but I'm sure someone will enjoy looking at what I have. If you want a closer picture of something or a better quality camera (I'm on spring break right now, my real camera is still in my dorm), just ask!

Excuse the mess, I only live at my parent's house a few months out of the year while I'm not in college :) All of those CDs above my speakers are Ozzy/Black Sabbath related too, definitely my biggest collection and worth far more than all of my laptops combined.

From top to bottom and left to right:
Ibook G4 1.33Ghz, 1.5GB ram, brand new 100GB HDD, Mac OS X Leopard (Youtube runs fine, does pretty much anything on the internet, great classroom computer as it's extremely small, came with a brand new battery as well).

Thinkpad L512, i5, 4GB RAM, 500GB 7200RPM HDD, Fingerprint, Camera, Windows 7 Ultimate. (My main computer, handles everything I need it to do and more, didn't have enough money to buy a T series at the time as they weren't on sale with the specs I needed, but this was my first TP ever and has gotten me addicted to the Thinkworld, I'd reccommend this beast to anyone looking for a computer that can handle the random college environment. It's taken a few drops to the ground and has made it through countless dorm-parties as a DJ with lots of drunk people trying to change the song and spilling their "beverage" around it haha)

Thinkpad T22, PIII 900mhz, 512MB RAM, 30GB HDD, Windows FLP. (Youtube surprisingly runs fine on standard definition, Facebook and forums are a breeze and the Thinklight still works! Battery holds a half hour charge, too)

(On the chair to the left) Thinkpad T20, PIII 750mhz, 256MB RAM, No HD. (Haven't bought a Hard Drive for it yet, but boots into BIOS fine)

Apple Ibook Clamshell G3 300mhz, 576mb RAM, 3GB HD (Youtube is a no-go, but email, forums, and even Facebook runs fine on it. Extremely comfortable machine to use, Mac OSX.3 Panther. Battery holds a 4-5 hour charge)

Thinkpad 390x, PII, 128MB RAM, 2GB HD, Windows 2000 PRO (Screen is beautiful, but it sometimes flickers or turns red or green when the hinge is moved to adjust the screen. Haven't been on the internet with it yet because the WIFI Card doesn't seem to work on any of my computers. It's massive and unlike laptops today, could be dropped pretty hard and I'd be confident it would turn right on. Plays Sega Genesis emulators at 60FPS with absolutely no lag. The battery is completely dead.)

Nice collection! :thumbs-UP:

Interesting to know that the ol' clamshell iBook still is somehow usable, I always liked that model...

Thanks Tasurinchi! :D

I'd recommend getting a Clamshell if you can find a completely working model for under $30-40 just because it's a huge conversation starter. It even has a handle! haha, I get so many looks walking around the dorms with it, I've even brought it to class a few times.

I bought two Mini Docks from the University Surplus this morning (they sell tons of them at a dollar a piece) with two AC adapters for them as the one for the laptop doesn't work with it. (Kind of irritating). Anyways, I thought I'd show a picture showing the AC adapter compared to a regular Ipod Touch to show how MASSIVE it is. Probably one of the biggest ones I've come across.

Geez, that thing is quite big, and I was complaining about the size of my X41T combo adapter...

Haha exactly! I will never complain about another adapter again after owning two of these beasts, they are literally the size of 5 of my L512 adapters combined.
