There they are. From right to left. IBM T42, IBM T61 and then there's the computer I bought by mistake (shame on me) HP TC4400. One must have enough computers to surf in the intterwebz without too many tabs ;)

Those are the machines I currently have in use. Old T2x and 600x are currently in use only as decorative objects. I think neither of them even have working operating system in them atm :)

What do you think? :)

Nice looking setup! Is the desktop monitor connector to anything? And those speakers! Got to be the largest PC speakers I've ever seen! Are they custom made? (I used to be an amateur speaker builder before I got caught up in ThinkPads...)

I was unfamiliar with this model and so I Googled up its specs:

OMG, this 12.1" XGA tablet weighs 4.6 lb!!! I don't think I have ever come across a heavier tablet! I agree this purchase was a mistake.

Yeah the speakers are custom made from 1980s (1x tweeter, 2x midway elements and 1x bass element in each. They did cost a small fortune back in the days and are still very usable and they do have very pleasant and warm sound compared to many other more expensive speakers i've encountered) (the amplifier is 2x50W tube amplifier which isnt shown in the picture) The desktop monitor is currently connected to my desktop rig which isnt in the picture either.

Indeed, its quite heavy - however it was a very powerful machine when i bought it (T7200 cpu). Still quite usable as the weight isnt really a problem for me - size is. I currently use it only as my travel computer.

nice, love your reference speakers. I think the only thing you need now, is a slightly larger computer desk. Because you obviously have too many equipments.

This is just a temporary setup during this summer (I'm currently living at my parents due the too long distance from my home to work, but I'm back at home from 1st sept). At home i have way larger desktop with enough space for all my five laptops + 2x24" monitors to attach them :).
