Email notifications not working

Hi,

Do other users have issues with mail notifications coming to their inbox? Apart from the fact that the messages are always marked as spam, which is a different thing, and can be handled by filters. I have all notifications turned on, a direct email (not alias) on my own domain set, and they don't come through, even in spam.

Only email is set up on the domain. Thanks for the answer, I did some things and it works now.

Gmail flags them as spam, yes. Most of the time they arrive in my inbox but I've had to mark them "not spam" in the past. Occasionally notifications don't arrive at all - not even to spam.

This is probably because the domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are not configured. At the very least, SPF should be set up.

I actually use ProtonMail, and it's the same here. Sometimes I also don't get notifications at all too. Sounds like that's something worth working on!
