Activation email issue.

Hello!

I do not know where to post this. Feel free to move this thread accordingly.

I tried subscribing on the forum with my main email but never received the activation email. When trying to resend the activation email, the page reports an email has been sent yet no email makes its way to my inbox.

If an admin could PM me i would gladly appreciate to give away all the details and maybe help resolve a bug.

Have a nice day!

Are you using Microsoft Hotmail/Live/Outlook?

Many thanks for the quick response.

Yes. The email uses the hotmail domain. Could this be the source of the bug?

If so, could i desactivate this old account and change the username on this one?

Thanks!

I'm currently dealing with a family emergency and am using my iPod which isn't the easiest thing to navigate with. If nobody else can help you with your email problem with the next few hours I'll look into it when I get home to a real keyboard.

hotmail uses a blacklist that thinkpads.com sdeems to listed on as a spam source or something..

i should find out how to get thinkpads.com OFF this list bt as we all know it is difficult to impossible to get OFF such a black list..

i should put that warning in the signup text but its hard coded and when i try to make changes errors pop up.. errors i would have to know what i'm doing to fix..

i prefer to just change your email on your older forum account so if you let me know what you want done i can easily do that..
