Thanks, and/or reputation?

Hey there, I'm pretty new and haven't been posting much except for in a thread I started but I have been reading around and getting some great info from folks. I'm on a number of other forums for various interests and one of the features I like about the forums that offer it is the ability to "Thumbs Up", "Thank", or add to the "Reputation" of other users for posts that they write that are especially helpful, well thought out, funny, or just written flawlessly. How do you feel about adding a feature here on Thinkpads that lets us thank each other for great content?
Just a thought. Thanks for this great forum BTW, it's helped me beyond measure.

This forum is old school in that reputation is built on a poster's posts, content and contribution. I like it that way as it takes time and work to build a reputation. "Like" or reputation buttons scream of juvenile and insecurity to me so I like it this way. Call me old fashion.

Guess that settles it once and for all, so we may as well lock this thread.
