"Marketplace" subforum post disappeared? About a month ago I created a post in the marketplace sub-forum pointing people to an eBay account I have where I was selling Thinkpad parts. Now I can't find that post in my "posts" section of my profile. Is it safe to assume that it was deleted by a mod? Is it against to rules to link / promote off-forum sales?

It is also possible I deleted the post myself and forgot doing so. (Lol!).

Of course, similar to what I remember commenting on one of the first posts you made - you could ask Bill Morrow for permission to post.

However, if you are a commercial poster, I am sure that Bill (and who knows how many other admins) will want a portion of what you sell in commission... probably.
