Is there a way to mention users?

#1 Post by TheForgottenKing » Mon Aug 12, 2019 12:27 am

I suppose I could do a fake quote kind of thing, but is there a native way to mention people so they get a notification? Thanks

@TheForgottenKing

Some forums have the @ option; dunno if it works here.

You can always just send the user a PM.

I actually received only one notification, but it was for the second post. Weird.

To activate this is only possible on an individual basis.
Click on your username (right top of page) to get in your User Control Panel.
Under Options, click on Board preferences, then click on Edit notification options.
Then tick the options you want, such as Someone quotes you in a post.

Since each and every forum member has to tick their own notification options, it's not gonna work on a general basis.
In other words: fuggeddit.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
