We only do Thin
kPads here, not Thinpads.
We do have a P-Forum:
ThinkPad P1/P40/P50/P70 and later Series
And finally, there is no P14, only
P14s, although there seems to be little or no interest in them here.

I've got a P14s myself, first generation, AMD variant (4750U, 32GB of RAM, 1TB NVMe). It's the most powerful machine I currently have CPU wise. But I don't like it that much because it came with a Privacy Guard screen and the viewing angles just plain suck. This particular version doesn't last that long on battery (real life, about 6-7 hours) and has a bug that drains the battery quickly while suspended. For those reasons I use it as a desktop replacement.
I also have a T14, second generation, intel variant (1145G7, 32GB of RAM, 1TB NVMe). As a laptop, I like it much more because battery life is considerably higher (can do 10-12 hours on light tasks) and it has the normal screen. I upgraded it myself (came with 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD) and noticed that, unlike the AMD version, it has a single pipe heatsink. It could probably do better with the dGPU dual heatpipe version. I'll do the mod once the warranty expires... if I still keep the machine by then.
P14s and T14 are pretty much identical. And none of them is particularly as pleasant to use as my X1 Carbon. I was spoiled by magnesium case models (X301, T420s, etc.) and now I just sigh when I use plastic laptops.
