I am getting the same error in addition to seeing Debug Mode displayed. This has been happening off and on the last day or so when posting to a thread. I have not sent any PM's in the last couple of days. Even though I get the error message, I find that my post went through. I think this accounts for the greater than usual number of double posts I'm seeing just now.

same happened to me..
not sure what is causing this..
the PM gets posted but the system seems to be slow in returning..

EDIT:
OK, the problem has been fixed..
it was a blocking of port 25 by the server's ISP..
it is now unblocked..
no more p[roblems should occur..
if anyone encounters this same error, please let me know..

Ditto here. I get the Debug error screen, but the post goes through.

To avoid double posts, check to make sure that the post went through before trying again. It has been my experience that the debug error refers to routing you to the thread to show you the post versus actually making the post. The posts do go through.
