I was student of the German university HAW-Hamburg. But because my studying has ended recently, I lost the web space for my internet site and my primary e-mail address windle_c@informatik.fh-hamburg.de that was hosted on their server.
Thus I had to sign for a new primary e-mail address at the German e-mail provider web.de. But despite web.de is famous for its particularly strict security measures, encryption support and spam protection, my attempt of updating my e-mail address on thinkpads.com failed with an error message, claiming that my new e-mail address was rejected with the prejudiced excuse that all free e-mail providers would spread spam or malicious code. Thus from now on I can not legally access thinkpads.com anymore, because its license requests a "trustworthy" e-mail address, which by definition of the current rules I can not have anymore (and likely never will again), since my internet access runs on an analogue modem through call-by-call services with a least cost router. I am therefore not registered at any fixed ISP and thus have no possibilities to get there any other kind of "trustworthy" e-mail address, since the monthly fees of other internet access methods would cost about twice as much, which is undemandable. Also DSL is very expensive where I live, and most types of DSL also pest the appartment with brain destroying pulsed high frequency radiation from unshielded cables or wireless access points, those are even more undemandable for any responsible human being and need to be banned by law.
It is therfore technically impossible for me to get any so-called "valid" e-mail address through others than so-called "free" e-mail providers. The thinkpads.com rule to reject such addresses with the prejudice of being a crime sources is therfore discriminating and needs to be abandoned immediately. (Its like claiming that all negros are cannibals.)
A web.de e-mail account also is not free, but costs 3.99€ per month in the enhanced version. And nowadays especially the so called "free" e-mail providers employ for their own protection the strictest anti-spam measures at all, because they are legally forced to do so and do everything to reduce waste of their own server capacity.
Thus spammers have stopped already several years ago to use free providers anyway, but instead spread their junks through networks of computer viruses those infect ordinary PCs and sent the spam through the kidnapped "trustworthy" outgoing e-mail addresses found on them.PETITION
With this I therefore request the operators of thinkpads.com to stop the discriminating act of blindly rejecting e-mail addresses of so-called "free" providers, since the prejudices inducing this measure are obsolete since at least 5 years.
At least please correct my own e-mail address on this forum to permit me to access it furthermore.
