Has IBM shut down the thinkpads.com name

I can only find the website by googling it and clicking on the cached web page.

FYI, Thinkpads.com was not owned by IBM but our own host Bill Morrow. Why is it down? I don't know, you can ask him.

I think that the OP is asking if IBM put their foot down and forced Bill to close down Thinkpads.com....and the answer is....most likely not, because this one would have been shut down too. It is likely a server issue.

There was a problem getting to this site a couple of days ago, could have been a regional issue.

i don't know whats up with the thinkpads.com site..
i can't get on but i CAN FTP to the site..
i sent an email to the server owner but no reply as yet..
the server is in colorado and the owner is now working and living in canada..
i'll give him a call on monday..
