Mods - if you lock a thread, please PM the OP or reply to the thread with a reason... Not only would it prevent confusion, but it would educate posters to prevent issues in the future.

I have no idea what's wrong with this thread. It doesn't seem to break any posted rules. There's no reply in the thread, nor a PM to me, with a reason. The only thing I can GUESS is that there are similar threads already in existance, but in this case I tried to open a new thread in order to ask people what I should look for specifically, etc.

While I was not the mod that locked the thread, there IS an explanation in your original post.
