Right now, the rules for FS threads in the marketplace have a minimum 72 hour bump limit.
Recently, I see more and more WTB threads that bump more often than every 72 hours, which is rather annoying. Given that my suggestion of splitting up the market place into at least FS and WTB subforums didn't go anywhere, can we at least add a 72 hour bump rule for WTB threads?

My understanding is that the bump rule has always applied to WTB post as well as FS ones. I'll keep an eye out .

Is the bumping button still working? It worked three days ago in my thread here http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=71763
But now, it can't be found, though the 72 hours should be up.

So I should be able to bump it, right?

Yes, it's still active but was set for 3 days. That may have kept it from displaying the link until after midnight tonight. I changed it to 72 hours to see if that works a little better.

Can it be that a given post can only be bumped once?

Don't know. I deleted your manual bump, so go check and see if the link is there now, please.

Yes, the bump button was there again and I successfully bumped it.
